As it's said: It's hard to fly with eagles when you're surrounded by a bunch of turkeys, or something to that affect. Disappionting, but not surprising.
STV with its ranking system is just a way to dilute the votes of people who want smaller or less popular political parties. It's a farce designed to reward the most partisan faction - which in BC is the centre-right. Get over it.
Mixed member proportional is a proven system that: - provides local representation, and - averages out with the popular vote.
I like the "one person/one vote" aspect of MMP, too.
