Moderate Islam™ Search Update

Nihad Awad and Muzzammil Hassan- a real pair of beauties

The search for that ever-elusive "Moderate Islam" just keeps getting more and more challenging all the time (by the way, we had the nicest bit of snipe tonight, but I digress ...)

Recently, I was shocked and deeply disappointed to learn that the FBI has found the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has ties to the jihadis of Hamas. I had such high hopes, but alas, America's "largest Muslim advocacy group" led by Nihad Awad, turns out to be just another cog in what former FBI agent John Guandolo (who lost his job to stealth jihad) told law enforcement and Homeland Security personnel Tuesday is "a network of Islamic organizations (who) are working to incrementally implement Islamic law in the United States. "
The United States, for example.

Now we get word that Muzzammil Hassan, founder of a tv network devoted to "counteracting negative stereotypes of Muslims in America" apparently hadn't been briefed on how negatively we filthy kuffar react to beheading one's estranged wife. No word yet on how the network plans to deal with the inevitable "negative stereotyping" to come.

Sira 367 ... "O Apostle of God, we shall have to tell lies." He (the Prophet) answered, "Say what you like, for you are free in the matter."

Yes indeed, nothing like a drop of Taqiyya to wash down some snipe.

Bloodied Hamas Looking for a Hudna

It seems the psychopathic thugs of Hamas need a bit of a breather.

"If Muslims are weak, a truce may be made for ten years if necessary, for the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) made a truce with the Quraysh for that long, as is related by Abu Dawud" ('Umdat as-Salik, o9.16).

"So do not be fainthearted and call for peace, when you have gained the upper hand." (Q 47:35).

"Interests that justify making a truce are such things as Muslim weakness because of lack of numbers or materiel, or the hope of an enemy becoming Muslim..." ('Umdat as-Salik, o9.16).

Dhimmi Canerduh

Israel's finally responding to Hamas firiing rockets into its territory from Gaza drew predictable responses from the usual anti-Semites. While the likes of Russia (who destroyed Grozny and killed thousands over rocket attacks) called on Israel to do as they say, not as they do, more nauseating still were the gatherings from coast to coast in canerduh during which supporters of Hamas and Hezbollah and their Jew-hating useful idiots chanted slogans calling for death to Jews and glorifying their pals in the two outlawed terrorist organizations.

In response, police and governments behaved like the most abject dhimmis grovelling in the suq at jizya time.

Only Jason Kenney, Harpo's Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism displayed anything remotely like cojones:

"Ottawa, January 15, 2009
The Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, today issued the following statement regarding displays of hatred and violence at recent protests across Canada:

“Like many Canadians, I am deeply concerned about allegations of the incitement to hatred and violence at recent protests across Canada.”

“It is shocking to think that flags of banned terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah are being flown in the streets of Canadian cities. The ideals these terrorist organizations preach are abhorrent to the fundamental values of the Canadian people and of all civilized peoples: freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law.”

“The open incitement of hatred has absolutely no place in Canadian society. We offer our condolences to all innocent victims of armed conflict and to those affected by repeated acts of terror. We remain vigilant in upholding fundamental Canadian values.”

The Government of Canada lists Hezbollah and Hamas as banned terrorist organizations under the provisions of Canada’s Criminal Code."

Close but no cigar though, Jason. "Allegations of the incitement to hatred and violence ..."? Its all on video, its all on the net, one needn't even get off the ministerial backside and switch on the tv to confirm said "allegations."

Besides, carefully worded statements and "condolences" are not what this situation calls for, what's needed is charges and deportations, for a start. Lots of deportations. Then a complete revamping of canerduh's ridiculous immigration policies.

I nominate for Dhimmi of the Year - US Division

Not content to rest on his "laurels" as one of the worst Presidents in history, Dhimmi Jimmy is now going to toddle off and have a nice visit with those poor, misunderstood folks from Hamas.
Well, that is, unless Representative Sue Myrick, a North Carolina Republican, has her way.
Wish her luck, she's calling on Condi Rice to revoke Carter's passport.

"“Former President Carter has acted in contradiction of international agreements to isolate Hamas. He has acted in defiance of both United States policy and international policy. His actions reward terrorists, lend support, and provide legitimacy to their belief that violence will eventually get them what they want,” said Rep. Myrick. ...

Congress granted the Secretary of State the power to grant and verify passports. In 1981, the United States Supreme Court held in the case of Haig v. Agee that the Secretary of State has the implied power to revoke passports as well (453 U.S. 280). ..."

Here's the whole release:

Unlikely to happen I suppose, but it would be funny as hell.
