Good Morning, I am NuVox's VP of Legal and we noticed your comments due to other complaints about calls from this number. Unfortunately, the number you note, although assigned to NuVox, is not actually active/assigned to a NuVox customer. What this means is that whoever is calling you is using this number on outbound caller ID but it is not the number from which the entity is actually calling. I believe this is a very common technique with telemarketers or "scams." I wish there was something I could do to assist but we have no idea who is actually using our number on their outbound caller ID so that we can send a cease and desist notice.
Most of a week and I'm still waiting for confirmation from NuVox that the above did indeed originate with them.
