The Religion of Peace - Toronto Division

So, if you haven’t heard of them, the Toronto Shariah Program is one of those nice moderate organizations so truly characteristic of the much-maligned Religion of Peace.

Their web site, will, Insha'allah, soon feature more content to go with headlines like “Sufism - Islamic mysticism, dancing and singing, or inner-cleansing of the spiritual soul?” then they’ve had time and volunteers to get up since 2003, but they have surprisingly, managed to get a very interesting page up about jihad, of all topics. Go figure.

If you have the poor judgement, as I confess I do, to be a kafir, you’ll no doubt find all this very reassuring reading:

“Anyone who makes the claim that he wants to serve the Deen yet is not thinking about jihad in the way of Allah, either has no understanding (of jihad) or he is not a truthful and sincere person. However, concerning the issue of jihad, people have gone to two extremes, both of which are mistaken. One group understood from the concept of jihad that it is necessary to view all the kuffar as those whom we must raise the sword or rifle to kill. The other group understands from the concept of jihad that we must be gentle, affectionate, and love all of them, and by doing such we would be “struggling” (i.e. making “jihad”) with them to bring them back to Allah and His Deen. Obviously, both groups have fallen into error. In reality, we are not a people whose mission is to kill the kuffar, nor are we a people who love the kuffar unrestrictedly. When it is time for fighting, we do not fight except those who, by doing so, we would be serving Allah alone (not our passions or personal agendas). ...”

So, you see, we kaffur are only to be attacked when Allah makes it known its “go time”. Allah lets them know whom to kill as well, so, no sweat there either folks. He’s always been very reliable in both regards.

“On the other hand, we have those who say, “We must love the kuffar, be kind with them, and esteem them. They are nice people and they have a lot of good in them.” People who say this have mixed truth with falsehood, just as those who say they want to kill all the kuffar, without understanding or differentiation, have also mixed truth with falsehood.
It is impossible for a true believer to love a kafir: “You will not find people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having love for anyone who opposes Allah and His Messenger” (Qur’an 58-21)..."

Well, that’s not hard for anyone to understand, right? Its one of those Everybody’s beautiful in their own way sort of things, in a Muslim sort of way, I figure.

“So we view all the kuffar as being, firstly, the creation of Allah. And as Muslims, we love Allah’s creation. Therefore, we do not love the kafir, rather, we love Allah’s creation (suna’ Allah). We view them as being a means for our spiritual transaction with Allah; a means for our drawing nearer to Allah. ..."

And that doesn’t necessarily mean slaughtering us all right now, got it? There’s always dhimmi status for those of us who qualify anyway. So, relax already.

“The way we enter discourse with them should be in ways that their intellects can understand, using means that they like and are familiar with,”

Well, that just makes sense because as non-Muslims, clearly we’re intellectually deficient. That’s just obvious.

“ as long as it is not prohibited in the Sacred Law.”

Which encourages taqiyya, kitman and all that, but hey, all religions encourage that sort of thing, don’t they?

“This is not because those means are the only means, but rather, because they are means that Allah loves. So if the time comes that it is more pleasing to Allah that we use another type of means, with some of them, then we do not hesitate for even one second to abandon the old method and to use the new method. The principle is that we are expansive and inclusive of everyone, merciful with everyone, loving and wanting goodness for everyone, from societies to leaders, from Muslims to kafirs. Then if a situation arose that calls us to deal with sternness, even if it reached the level of fighting, then we do not allow our previous ways of mercy and gentleness to delay that which Allah has commanded. ..."

Well, clearly whatever it takes to deal with the enemies of Allah is what must be done.

“The day I meet with an enemy soldier off the battle field, who killed Muslims in Afghanistan, and I sense that he may want guidance, then I will treat him with the utmost of mercy. This is what we MUST understand. So our ultimate and primary mission in jihad is their guidance, even while we might be (physically) fighting them! ..."

Well, I don’t suppose the DND would be tasteless enough to allow Canadian or other Afghan war veterans into Toronto anyway, at least not any who aren't wanting “guidance”, so there's really no chance of this coming up, right?

“In this incident, the Prophet, peace and blessing be upon him, made firm in our hearts the understanding that even while fighting, our goal is their guidance. So if the enemy shows the signs of being guided, then the fighting between us and them ceases, even if it was an outward form without any true reality. That is why the meaning of the statement, “Did you kill him after he said it, Oh Usamah?!” is that we should not let our drive to fight blind us from the real cause of fighting, which is their guidance. ..."

So, you see, its all about what’s good for us kaffur. I just feel like breaking into a rousing chorus of Kumbaya. How about you?

Fitna Debuts At Long Last

Geert Wilders seems to be trying to make a case with this film that the Religion of Peace has violence at its core. No doubt, the world-wide reaction from its adherents will soon put the lie to that.
Liveleak has already pulled it due to death threats, but we all know those were from people who misunderstand Islam. Their minds can't deal with the subtle nuances of a passage like:
... offence to Allah is more grievous than bloodshed. Q 2:19:2
so they think it means what it says. They're probably not even Muslims themselves, just vicious.

Thousands of Turkish tiny minority
of fanatics march for jihad

Turks praise jihad to protest Cheney visit
JERUSALEM POST STAFF
Thousands of Turks chanted anti-American and anti-Israel slogans, sang jihadist songs and pledged to follow the path of Hamas's Sheikh Ahmed Yassin at a rally held on Saturday to coincide with US Vice President Dick Cheney's visit to Turkey, according to the Washington-based Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI)

In a news release on Monday, MEMRI quoted the Turkish Islamist Web sites Velfecr.com and Kudusyolu.com as reporting that demonstrators carried hundreds of Hamas and Hizbullah flags and posters, as well as pictures of the movements' leaders.

Some of the banners read, "Israel Will Be Destroyed," "We Will Settle Accounts with the Murderer Israel," "If Every Muslim Pours Out a Bucket of Water, Israel Drowns," and "The Way of the Shahids is Our Way."

MEMRI said the demonstration, held in Sakarya, was organized by the Islamist Anatolia Youth Organization (AGD), with the support of other Islamist organizations.

During the demonstration, an Israeli flag with "Death to Israel" on it was burned and hateful speeches against Christian "Crusaders" and Jews, inciting the crowds to jihad, were delivered by Islamist activist Nureddin Sirin and by two AGD officials.

MEMRI noted that Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan headed the AGD prior to becoming Istanbul's mayor.

Sirin was quoted as telling the crowd: "The vice president of the White House gang of terror, occupation, murders and massacres, whose hands are in blood, is coming to Turkey to seek Turkey's cooperation and support against Palestine or Lebanon, against Syria and Iran. He will ask Turkey to be an accomplice in their satanic plans and assaults. So we say to this bloody terrorist, to this murderer, before he sets foot on Turkey's Islamic land: 'Hey, murderer! Hey, terrorist! Do not come to this country! Get out! Go away from here!'"

Sirin went on: "We say to the White House of America and to the Tel Aviv gang: Islamic lands are not only Palestine, Iraq or only Afghanistan. All the lands of Islam will become the grave of Crusaders and Zionists, and with the will of Allah, in all Islamic lands, the faces of Crusaders, occupiers and Zionists will taste the slaps and the fists of Muslims that will smash them. Quds [Jerusalem] is the cause of everyone who says he is a Muslim. When the political, cultural, economic and military unity of Islam is realized, none of them [the infidels] will dare raise a hand to the Muslims. The day is nearing, when the Zionist cancer virus, this tumor, will be eliminated." "

Gosh, I for one am sure glad that Turkey is one of those "moderate, secular" Islamic countries. Otherwise this sort of thing could be alarming.

But true to form, the MSM will give all this as little coverage as possible to prevent further misunderstanding of the Religion of Peace, so, not to worry.

No Fool Like An Old Fool Part MMCXXXIV

She wanted $251 million, he offered $31.6 million.
She gets $48.6 million. I wonder if she feels like she lost.

I don't know why I can't quit thinking about that old (possibly apocryphal) anecdote about GB Shaw inquiring of a young something if she would hit the sack with him for (iirc) a thousand pounds (a lottery win in those days). Upon receiving a reply in the affirmative, Shaw then wondered if ten bob would suffice.
"Mr. Shaw, " came the indignant retort, "What do you think I am?
"Ah, well surely we've established that," Shaw replied, "Now we're just talking price."
Don't know why I keep thinking about that one.
Maybe its 'cause of St. Patrick's Day.

Its Another Taqiyya Sunrise

"Race fears spark St. George ban
Tuesday, October 4, 2005 Posted: 1249 GMT (2049 HKT)
LONDON, England (CNN) -- British prison officers who wore a St. George's Cross tie-pin have been ticked off by the jails watchdog over concerns about the symbol's racist connotations.

The pins showing the English flag -- which has often raised hackles due to its connection with the Crusades of the 11th, 12th and 13th centuries -- could be "misconstrued," Chief Inspector of Prisons Anne Owers said in a section on race in a report on a jail in the northern English city of Wakefield.

The banner of St. George, the red cross of a martyr on a white background, was adopted for the uniform of English soldiers during the military expeditions by European powers to recapture the Holy Land from Muslims, and later became the national flag of England.

A section on race relations in Owers' report said: "We were concerned to see a number of staff wearing a flag of St. George tie-pin.

"While we were told that these had been bought in support of a cancer charity there was clear scope for misinterpretation, and Prison Service Orders made clear that unauthorized badges and pins should not be worn."

As one of her formal recommendations Owers said: "Staff should not wear unauthorized badges or pins."

Chris Doyle, director of the Council for the Advancement of Arab-British Understanding, said Tuesday the red cross was an insensitive reminder of the Crusades.

"A lot of Muslims and Arabs view the Crusades as a bloody episode in our history," he told CNN. "They see those campaigns as Christendom launching a brutal holy war against Islam.

What a steaming load of cringing revisionist crap.

Charles Martel might just have disagreed.
"The defeat of the Saracen invaders of Frankish lands at Tours (more properly Poitiers) in 732 A.D. was a turning point in history. It is not likely the Muslims, if victorious, would have penetrated, at least at once, far into the north, but they would surely have seized South Gaul, and thence readily have crushed the weak Christian powers of Italy. ...
Isidore of Beja's Chronicle
[Davis Introduction] "

"The Muslims planned to go to Tours to destroy the Church of St. Martin, the city, and the whole country. Then came against them the glorious Prince Charles, at the head of his whole force. He drew up his host, and he fought as fiercely as the hungry wolf falls upon the stag. By the grace of Our Lord, he wrought a great slaughter upon the enemies. ...
Chronicle of St. Denis "

Emperor Alexus I of Byzantium who had Muslim armies pounding on his gates might well have taken a different view as well:
"For your brethren who live in the east are in urgent need of your help, and you must hasten to give them the aid which has often been promised them. For, as the most of you have heard, the Turks and Arabs have attacked them and have conquered the territory of Romania [the Greek empire] as far west as the shore of the Mediterranean and the Hellespont, which is called the Arm of St. George. They have occupied more and more of the lands of those Christians, and have overcome them in seven battles. They have killed and captured many, and have destroyed the churches and devastated the empire. If you permit them to continue thus for awhile with impunity, the faithful of God will be much more widely attacked by them. ..."

And everyone else. And they're still attacking, by force and by stealth.
Oh, and if you're wondering about this Anne Owers kook, just Google her. You'll find she's been pushing hard for Dhimmi of the Year. I can't decide if she gets my vote in the UK division, what with her being up against the Archbish of Cant and all, but she's sure in the discussion.

BURNABY - The Integrated Homicide Investigative Team is seeking witnesses to the death of a 19-year-old man who was found injured just before midnight on March 13, in a residence that police are "aware of" in the 7300 block of 12th Avenue. ..."

Our beloved Mayor Three Chins here in the People's Happy Democratic Republic of Burnaby must just love all the pub Simple Sam of Vancouver gets with his antics. No-one in the media has time to look at a guy who has managed to add 3 park rangers to Burnaby's payroll while the cops are overwhelmed. Of course, in defence of His Worship  , he has been very busy with world peace and global warming. Just what a mayor is elected to busy himself with.

A "residence police are aware of"? News flash - they're all over town. There's just nothing Five- O can do about it. They find themselves in the famous position of trying to carry 5 pounds of something unpleasant in a 3 pound bag.

Mayor Three Chins dodges it all. I've said it before and I'll no doubt do so again: Oh for a Dianne Watts of our own in Burnaby.

How to tell the enemies from the friendlies?
"Afghan protesters chant 'Long live al Qaeda'
Updated Sun. Mar. 9 2008 10:48 AM ET
CTV.ca News Staff

Thousands of Afghan students chanted "Long live al Qaeda," during a protest aimed at Denmark and the Netherlands.( dnb: oh, really? Just them?)

Protesters accused the two European countries of insults against Islam. Sunday's protest in Jalalabad was one of at least a half-dozen in Afghanistan, including one in the capital city of Kabul.

(*)The demonstrators burned flags from each country and also shouted "Death to America."

Jalalabad was where Osama Bin Laden made his last public appearance in late 2001. The eastern city has long been seen as friendly to the al Qaeda leader, who had a major compound south at Tora Bora in the White Mountains.

"We don't want Dutch and Danish forces in Afghanistan. If our government does not kick them out, we will continue our demonstrations until they leave Afghanistan,'' said one protester, university student Qari Ibrahim. "If these forces do not leave, we are prepared to carry out suicide attacks against them.'..."
http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNe...?hub=TopStories

Like the suicide attacks against Canadian troops. This is the sort of place we should be sending troops to to... to what? To defend the Afghans? From themselves? To conquer them? Good luck.

If the idea is to collect a lot of islamonuts in one area where they can be dealt with more readily (the roach motel approach) then you have to hit them with bombs, nuke 'em.
This
won't get anything done unless the intent is to waste young lives.
