Cubs Lose Not News

The black cat reminding Cub Ron Santo
about the curse - Shea Stadium Sept. 9, 1969

After their best regular season since (of course, as nothing to do with their misery is random) 1945, the year Billy Goat Tavern owner Billy Sianis cursed the Cubbies in the first place, its three games and gone in round one.
Sympathies extended to Cubs nation and a word of advice.
Since apparently the curse is on Wrigley and won't be lifted (according to Sianis) until the ballpark admits goats because they love them and want them there, it may just be time for a new *ahem* venue.
One that won't be required to host livestock.
You're welcome.
